Sometimes we think of the activities on the following list as 'chores', but if you are able to slow down a little in your mind and do them carefully in awareness (focus on them), you are keeping yourself connected to Self-love and Self-worth.

SPECIFIC EXERCISE 


The following exercise is about Sitting With Awareness:


Sit on a comfortable but firm chair. 


Breathe gently and deeply. 


Allow your hands to rest on your thighs, or in your lap. 


Breathe slowly and deeply. 


Bring your awareness to how the floor supports your feet, to how the chair supports your thighs and backside, and to how the chair supports your back. 


Breathe deeply and evenly. 


Give thanks for the support you are receiving from the floor and the chair, and from the Earth. 


Breathe slowly and deeply and evenly. 


Allow yourself to rejoin the room at your own pace.
